London-based specialist development finance lender Atelier has launched a new regional office in Birmingham’s business district. The office, located at 102 Colmore Row, is headed by lending director Rav Kudhail and aims to provide custom finance solutions to developers across the West and East Midlands, as well as extending its reach to Leeds and Manchester.
Atelier, which has already deployed £150 million in capital across the Midlands, has financed several local projects, including the conversion of a Grade II-listed building in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter into 32 apartments and a 196-studio student development near the University of Warwick.
Kudhail, who has been based in Birmingham for three years, highlighted the firm’s success in building relationships with regional developers and its commitment to financing diverse asset classes in central England and the North.
Atelier’s chief executive Chris Gardner emphasised the importance of the Birmingham office in consolidating the company’s growth plans in the Midlands, noting their involvement in residential, student accommodation, and care projects throughout the region.
