adminReusable nappy pioneers, Bambino Mio have ended a remarkable year on the highest possible note. Bambino Mio’s Founder and Managing Director, Guy Schanschieff has been awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours List for his services to business.
Based in Brixworth, Northampton, Bambino Mio was founded by husband and wife, Guy and Jo Schanschieff in 1997. From the modest beginnings of operating a mail order business from their home Bambino Mio is now the market leader in the reusable nappy industry. The company now sell an extensive range of nappy products and accessories in numerous national stores throughout the UK and in over 70 countries around the world.
At the time Guy and Jo started Bambino Mio, reusable nappies conjured up an image of being dated and behind the times. Guy has strived to not only develop and grow Bambino Mio but the entire reusable nappy industry. Guy set about educating parents about the financial, environmental and health benefits of using reusable nappies; helping to create an industry which has become an increasingly more popular choice for parents all over the world.
