A new law firm, DBA Law, has been launched in Birmingham by a team of five former employees from Thursfields Solicitors. The group has partnered with Excello Law, a national legal disruptor, to focus on property and property litigation within the city.
DBA Law’s team includes partners Helena Bannister, Terry Dickson, and Anna Albini, along with associate Evita Svampane and paralegal Louise Evans. The team previously worked together at Buckles, Wright Hassall, and most recently at Thursfields.
Operating out of Excello Law’s Birmingham office at Two Snowhill, DBA Law will offer services covering all aspects of transactional and contentious real estate law, including site acquisitions, landlord and tenant matters, and asset management. The firm will also handle long residential leasehold issues, mixed-use block management, and lease extensions.
Helena Bannister, a partner at DBA Law, expressed confidence in the firm’s future, citing the partnership with Excello Law as providing the right blend of autonomy and support for their new venture.
Excello Law’s chief operating officer, Jo Losty, highlighted DBA Law as the ninth firm to join their ‘House of Brands’, which also includes other firms such as Lowry Legal and Ionic Legal.
