Long Eaton Appliance Company, a Nottinghamshire-based family-run business, has been honoured with the title of Best Large Independent Retailer at the 2024 IER Awards. The award recognises excellence in major domestic appliances retailing.
Founded by Paula and David Rowland, the company has built a reputation for quality and service. Managing Director David Rowland, who accepted the award alongside Sales and Marketing Specialist Poppy Rowland, emphasised the importance of teamwork in achieving this accolade. He noted, “Myself and Poppy collected the award, but it’s a real team effort. None of this would be possible without the fantastic group we have.”
The company’s showroom features an array of brands including Neff, Bosch, Siemens, Smeg, Miele, and Quooker. In addition to retailing, Long Eaton Appliance Company also specialises in designing and fitting kitchens.
