Independent Birmingham brewery Attic Brew Co. has transformed one of its delivery vans into a striking mobile artwork, following a collaboration with Black Country commercial vehicle specialists WCC.
The project reimagines Attic’s popular “Intuition” beer can design as a full vehicle wrap, translating the bold colours, rainbow line work, and distinctive typography from packaging to the road. The result is a delivery van that doubles as a moving brand statement, designed to stand out across Birmingham and the wider Midlands.
The wrap was designed and applied in-house by WCC’s graphics team, who worked closely with Attic Brew Co. to ensure the final finish stayed true to the authentic can artwork. Every element of the design was carefully scaled and hand-applied to maintain colour accuracy and sharp detail across the vehicle’s complex surfaces.
According to Grant Howse, Marketing Manager at WCC, the project shows a growing appetite among independent businesses to use vehicles as brand assets rather than just transport.
“Too many commercial vehicles disappear into traffic,” he said. “For independent brands especially, a van is a moving billboard. If you are investing in one anyway, it makes sense for it to represent your brand properly and get noticed.”
For Attic Brew Co., the collaboration focused on preserving creative integrity while extending their brand beyond cans and taprooms.
“It’s not every day your van gets the same level of care as your flagship beer,” said Samuel Back of Attic Brew Co. “Working with another local independent who genuinely cares about detail made all the difference. The finished van looks exactly how we hoped it would.”
The project showcases a wider trend among Midlands-based businesses: cooperation among local manufacturers, creatives, and service providers is helping smaller brands compete visually with national names. Rather than depending on traditional advertising, companies are increasingly using physical assets, such as vehicles, to reinforce their identity and visibility in the real world.
For WCC, the Attic Brew Co. van is one of a growing number of bespoke branding projects which combine design, craftsmanship, and commercial practicality.
